Uptown Dance Company installed a huge door on its studio to create an indoor-outdoor theater for live performance. Guests sit at tables, with champagne and light bites. Artistic director Beth Gulledge-Brown, Houston Ballet principal Karina Gonzalez and Broadway veteran and former Houston Ballet principal Krissy Richmond have created new works for the occasion that blend contemporary dance, classical ballet and jazz.
