Duluth, Minn., is better known for its Bob Dylan association and for frigid winters than bluegrass music. But Duluth is nevertheless the home of Trampled by Turtles, a band that adds some indie rock and soul touches to its progressive bluegrass. They’ve managed to pull both fans of acoustic picking and also jam band enthusiasts, which speaks to the music’s reach. The group’s most recent album is “Life Is Good on the Open Road.”
