La Fiebre, a long-running band rooted in Pasadena, is up for a Latin Grammy.

The group is nominated for best Tejano album for this year's "Historico." La Fiebre was founded in 1986 as a rock band but quickly shifted to Tejano. The group's first album, "Contagious," was released in 1986. La Fiebre previously earned nominations in 1998 and 2015.
The band said it was "excited and humbled" by the nomination.

Fellow Texans Ram Herrera and Solido are also nominated in the same category.
Pop singer Camilo leads the pack this year with ten nominations. The Latin Grammys air live at 7 p.m. Nov. 18 on Univision. Performers and presenters will be announced soon.
